Nothing too hard

Jeremiah 32:27

Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for Me?

There you have it! The mouth of the Lord has spoken!

God is so uncontainable. We cannot put Him in a box. Out of His mouth, He is telling us that there is nothing too hard for Him. No mountain too high, no valley too low. God is omnipotent and omnipresent. He is in all places at all times and He knows everything! He has all power and authority.

So, why do we worry and fret over day to day situations? Why do we continue to take the cares of this life and try to make things work according to our plan? Jeremiah reminds us in Chapter 29 and verse 11 that He knows the thoughts and plans that He has for us. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts if peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” The amplified version states “Plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope”.

With this in mind, we should be ready to conquer every day. We should cooperate and participate in working with what God has promised us. He wants nothing but GOOD for us. Why shouldn’t we want the same for ourselves?

This means we should not be confessing bad things to happen every day. I have recently been talking a lot about this and my Bishop confirmed it in the sermon on Sunday. We must build up our hope, using the Word of God as a springboard and building upon it. Stop confessing you are going to be sick, going to die, have this disease and that disease. SPEAK LIFE!!!! Confess positive statements. Trust God and thank Him in advance for turning those bad situations around.

If you don’t know what to say, confess the word of God on a daily basis. With the technology that is available, you can search scriptures on different topics at the touch of a button. There is no need for ignorance when it comes to almost any topic in this day and age. Google it!

As you go about your week, seek ways to turn things around. Find positive mentors. Seek out a prayer partner. Read the Bible daily. Pray to God first thing in the morning. Find good spiritual resources at your local Christian bookstore. Make sure you are in a Word-based church.

I know everyone may not practice the Christian faith, but you can read the bible to find out what God has in store for you and how He wants you to live your life.

Remember God has a plan for each of us. A good plan. An uncommon plan. A great plan!
